Simple front room workout V1

Here's a simple workout you can do in your front room using just furniture, cans from your cupboard, and no additional equipment:

  1. Chair squats: Find a sturdy chair and stand facing away from it with your feet shoulder-width apart. Lower your body down towards the chair as if you're about to sit, then stand back up to the starting position. Do 3 sets of 10-15 reps.

  2. Couch dips: Sit on the edge of a couch or sturdy chair with your hands gripping the edge beside you. Lower your body down towards the floor by bending your elbows, then push back up to the starting position. Do 3 sets of 10-15 reps.

  3. Backpack lunges: Fill a backpack with cans or other household items to add weight, then put it on your back. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and step forward with one foot, lowering your body down until both knees are at 90-degree angles. Push back up to the starting position and repeat with the other foot. Do 3 sets of 10-15 reps per leg.

  4. Canned food curls: Hold a can in each hand and stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Bend your elbows to bring the cans up towards your shoulders, then lower them back down to your sides. Do 3 sets of 10-15 reps.

  5. Plank with shoulder taps: Get into a plank position with your hands directly under your shoulders and your feet shoulder-width apart. Keeping your core tight, tap your left shoulder with your right hand, then tap your right shoulder with your left hand. Do 3 sets of 10-15 taps per side.

Remember to warm up before starting your workout, and cool down and stretch afterwards.
